The role:

  • Produce monthly financial reports for Senior Management
  • Analyse variances and explore potential problems
  • Manage monthly payroll and ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain reporting systems
  • Assist in budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Improve accounting systems
  • Implement financial policies and procedures
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Monitor cash reserves and investments
  • Prepare annual year end file
  • Assist with the Annual audit (where applicable)
  • Maintain financial files and records
  • Ensure compliance with Australian taxation and statutory business legislation
