The role:
- Produce monthly financial reports for Senior Management
- Analyse variances and explore potential problems
- Manage monthly payroll and ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain reporting systems
- Assist in budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Improve accounting systems
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Monitor cash reserves and investments
- Prepare annual year end file
- Assist with the Annual audit (where applicable)
- Maintain financial files and records
- Ensure compliance with Australian taxation and statutory business legislation
