We are searching for a talented and experienced SOUS CHEF to join this QLD island in their events teams

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for handling a range of events from BBQs to fine dining, seated and more for corporate, wedding and private events.

What will you be doing?

  • Take on an operational role and work closely with the executive chef in running and motivating the talented brigade
  • Training and development of kitchen members
  • Menu development
  • Ordering and stocktaking
  • Maintaining impressive standards and techniques
  • Work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster

Do you tick these boxes?

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP  within a hotel banqueting team or catering company
  • Manual driver's licence
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
